The team at R. Paul Campbell, D.M.D. brings their own unique skill set, experience and knowledge to the practice. Collectively, they work together to help create the straightest, healthiest smiles for patients in Lewistown and Bellefonte, PA. They do what they love to do, so you can enjoy what you love to do.
Dr. Campbell and his staff have each earned a quality education and developed a wealth of experience both in the dentistry and at the practice. Their dedication to the industry is exemplified by their consistent improvements in techniques through continued educational courses.
Their commitment to the people of the community isn’t just within the walls of the practice. Dr. Campbell and the team volunteer with the National Foundation for Dentistry for the Handicapped and participate in the job shadowing program associated with Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology’s dental assisting program.
Dr. R Paul Campbell, D.M.D, Orthodontist
Dr. Campbell grew up in the State College area and graduated from State College High School in 1981. After graduating from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA in 1993, he received his Advanced Graduate Study in Orthodontics From Boston University Dental School in 2000. He then took over the practice from his father, Dr. Robert Campbell which was established in 1968.

Dr. Campbell has a son, Dale who also graduated from State College High School in 2016. Dr. Campbell’s outside interests include fishing, scuba diving
Lisa
Dental Hygienist, New Patient Treatment Coordinator
Lisa began her dental career after graduating from Allegany Community College in Maryland with her dental hygiene degree in 1981. She joined the team in 1983 as a dental hygienist and orthodontic assistant for 21 years before training to become the team’s New Patient Treatment Coordinator. She divides her time between the Bellefonte and Lewistown offices which allows her to see all of the new patients.
Lisa works closely with Dr. Campbell providing treatment options and answers any questions our patients may have regarding their treatment. Lisa and her husband Chuck have three children and 7 grand sons and 1 grand daughter. She enjoys gardening, crocheting, reading and time with her family. Lisa loves watching football (Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State) and hockey (Pittsburgh Penguins).
Aaron
LAB Tecnician/Orthodontie Assistant/ Front Desk Appartment Coordinator
Aaron has been with our office since August 2020.
Aaron is a well-rounded team member whose passions for fishing, hiking, camping, and video games reflect his adventurous spirit and love for both the outdoors and immersive digital experiences. In the office, he brings that same enthusiasm and focus to his work, handling 3D printing and in-house teeth alignments with precision and care. Aaron is also a key point of contact for clients, known for his friendly demeanor and outstanding customer service while managing phone calls and supporting daily operations. His combination of technical skill and personable nature makes him a valuable part of the team.
Missy
Orthodontic Assistant
Missy has been with our office since 2021.
Missy is a loving and dedicated grandmother who cherishes every moment spent with her grandson, always finding joy in their time together. When she’s not doting on her family, she can often be found relaxing in her favorite zero-gravity chair, unwinding after a busy day. With 4 years of experience in orthodontics and an impressive 33 years in general dentistry, Missy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as an orthodontic assistant. She’s a cherished member of her team, known for her warm heart and infectious sense of humor, always keeping everyone laughing with her fantastic stories. Her care for others and her ability to make everyone feel like family make her a true gem in both her professional and personal life.
Trina
Front Desk/Financial/Insurance Orthodontic Assistant.
Trina brings 24 years of expertise and dedication to the orthodontic field, making her a highly valued member of the team. She plays a key role in assisting with patient care, ensuring that each visit runs smoothly and efficiently, while also managing the front desk with her trademark professionalism and warmth. Outside of work, Trina enjoys spending time with her family. Trina’s wealth of experience, combined with her genuine care for both patients and coworkers, make her a true cornerstone of both her family and the office.
Dale
LAB Technician
Joined our team in 2023.
Dale has been a dedicated member of the orthodontics team for two years, bringing both technical expertise and a strong work ethic to every task he takes on. With a natural knack for computers and technology, he’s become a go-to resource for troubleshooting and tech support around the office. As a skilled lab technician, Dale works with precision and care to ensure all orthodontic devices meet the highest standards. His versatility means he’s often stepping in to help with a variety of tasks, making him a valuable, reliable presence in the office. Outside of work, Dale enjoys unwinding with video games and tackling DIY projects, putting his handyman skills to use with everything from small repairs to home improvement
projects.
